“Is any among you sick? Let him call for the presbyters of the Church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” (James 5:14-15)
The sacrament of the anointing of the sick is offered to anyone who is seriously ill, in danger of death, or preparing for a medical procedure. Whenever you or a family member are in such a situation, please contact the parish office as soon as possible to schedule a time for the priest to celebrate the sacrament with you. If it is a medical emergency and you call outside of regular business hours, select extension 150 to contact a priest immediately.
Those unable to attend Sunday Mass due to health reasons may receive the eucharist outside of the Mass. Please contact the parish office to arrange to receive the sacrament at home, in a hospital, or at a nursing home.
Please contact Rheinhold Olson [email protected] to help bring communion to the sick and homebound.
